Don’t use your child for arguing

image thumb Dont use your child for arguing This is the next important rule for your problem solving.  Do not use your children to win the argument.  Don’t let them talk for you.  You need to reassure your child that their parents are working out a different opinion and he or she doesn’t need to get involved. 

You better direct  your child towards a play activity that is suitable for them.  Then make sure that your children understand that their parent can control the situation and they don’t have to worry about it. 

If your child still repeatedly stopping you arguments, talk to them for a while.  Explain them that this is not their responsibility and their parents can handle it well. 

Sometimes in marriage life, we have a different argument about our children.  Even though this is about your children, you better discuss it without them. 

As the time go by, our children grow.  The rules of solving problems will change too.  When your child become teenagers, you may involve them on your problem solving.  Remember, you have to teach them first about solving problem in a good way.  The best way to teach them is by doing it yourself.  Let them know that their parent are a good problem solver.  Let them know that a good communication is the key.  Solve your problem well and your children will solve their problem in a same way.

Remember, do not use your children to win your argument.
